With nearly two decades of experience in Worcester County and Windham County as a Real Estate Broker I understand how important location is to value. My background is in finance as a CPA and an MBA at a corporate level. That, combined with my market experience, provides my clients with expertise and service beyond that of an average real estate appraiser.
I’ve had a lengthy career in the finance and real estate sectors, which has equipped me with a unique set of skills that I’m delighted to possess. These skills enable me to exceed my clients’ expectations in providing exceptional real estate and appraisal services.
My journey began in the corporate world after earning my Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from American International College. This path led me to Portland, Maine, where I worked as a healthcare auditor and obtained my Certified Public Accountant credentials. It was exciting! I purchased my first home using the savings from rolled pennies, and it turned out to be a significant renovation project. This marked the beginning of my involvement in “flipping” homes, even before it became a trend on HGTV. Subsequently, I pursued a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern Maine and gradually realized that corporate life wasn’t for me. Upon completing the hands-on renovation of my first house and selling it, I became deeply passionate about real estate. You could say “the bug bit me!”
In 2008, I decided to move back to Massachusetts to be closer to my family. I took a leap into the real estate industry, despite the challenging market conditions caused by the economic crash. My financial background proved invaluable in helping my clients navigate through these turbulent times, emphasizing the importance of value in their decisions.
Over the course of more than a decade, I dedicated myself to assisting clients in Worcester and Windham Counties. Eventually, I made the decision to excel in my skills by becoming a Certified Residential Appraiser. This certification combined with my financial expertise, extensive knowledge of the local market, and a deep understanding of housing structures and mechanical systems, makes beyond average well-equipped for residential property valuation.
Today, I enjoy assisting both my real estate and appraisal clients. My daily routine involves interacting with people, assisting them in making sound real estate choices, and contributing to their well-being. In my free time, I serve as the President of Patriot Siberian Husky Rescue, work on my own home improvement projects, and take my dogs on hiking adventures.
